These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Or de Carthage website and the purchase of handmade Tunisian products, including pottery, silver pieces, palm leaf creations, halfa items, carpets, decorative objects and other artisan goods. By browsing the website or placing an order, the customer accepts these terms.
1. Website use
The customer agrees to use the website lawfully, respectfully and accurately, without attempting to disrupt its operation, misuse its content or provide false information.
2. Handmade product nature
Each piece is handmade or artisan-finished. Small variations in color, size, shape, texture, engraving or weave are normal and form part of the product’s authentic character.
3. Product information
We make reasonable efforts to display accurate descriptions, photos, dimensions, materials and care guidance. Screen colors and handmade finishes may differ slightly from the product received.
4. Prices and availability
Prices, promotions and stock availability may change without prior notice. Some artisan items are limited, unique or produced in small series; an order may be cancelled if the item is unavailable.
5. Orders and confirmation
An order is considered accepted only after validation of the order details, product availability and payment or selected settlement method. We may contact the customer to confirm details before dispatch.
6. Payment
The accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout. The customer is responsible for ensuring that payment information is correct and that the selected payment method is authorized.
7. Delivery
Delivery times depend on destination, preparation time, product fragility, volume and carrier availability. The customer must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and reachable contact details.
8. Receipt and damaged parcels
The customer should inspect the parcel upon receipt. Visible damage, missing items or delivery issues must be reported promptly with photos and order details so that we can review the claim.
9. Returns and exchanges
Return or exchange requests are handled according to our return policy and the product’s condition. Items must generally be unused, complete and returned with appropriate protection.
10. Personalized items
Customized, made-to-order or personalized products may not be eligible for cancellation, return or exchange unless they arrive damaged, defective or not compliant with the confirmed order.
11. Product care
The customer must follow the care instructions provided for pottery, silver, natural fibers, carpets and other handmade items. Damage caused by improper use, cleaning or storage is not the responsibility of Or de Carthage.
12. Intellectual property
Texts, images, brand elements, product presentations, layouts and website content belong to Or de Carthage or its partners and may not be copied or reused without prior written permission.
13. Customer content
Reviews, messages or photos shared by customers must be respectful, lawful and related to the purchased products. We may refuse or remove abusive, misleading or inappropriate content.
14. Liability limits
Or de Carthage is not responsible for indirect loss, misuse of products, delays caused by third parties, incorrect customer information or events beyond reasonable control.
15. Privacy
Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy for order management, customer support, delivery, payment follow-up and lawful business communication.
16. Updates and applicable rules
We may update these terms to reflect operational, technical or legal changes. The version published on this page applies at the time of browsing or order, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
